I can hardly believe it but Comic-Con is just a month away and that means I am already thinking about my event schedule. I’m not talking about the actual convention itself, but instead all of the amazing events that go on outside the convention. Comic-Con has evolved a lot over the years and now it is much more than just the convention itself. There are so many meetups, get-togethers, after parties and events that you could easily spend a whole day outside the actual convention. You might already be hearing about some of these things but it can be a little overwhelming so I figured I would go over some of my personal favorite events over the course of the next couple of weeks. First up is the Game of Bloggers meetup.
Let’s face it, there are a lot of us bloggers out there. We Tweet to each other, support each other and even (sometimes) read each other’s work. So wouldn’t it be cool for us to all meet each other? Now you can. For the 2nd year in a row the Game of Bloggers meet up will be at the aptly named Dragon’s Den (by Petco Park).
I went to the first one last year and it was really fun. I met a lot of people that I previously knew only by the thumbnail on their website and I also met a lot of really cool new people as well.
This is another fun event that gives us the opportunity to network, encourage, and maybe even team up with each other to create some really fun times (and maybe content as well).
Last year was packed out and I expect the same for this year. So register while you can and I hope to see you there!
